Special Event: Nadir Sarıbacak in Attendance
The screening will be followed by a live Q&A with co-director and lead actor Nadir Sarıbacak, moderated by Jordan Mintzer.

The conversation will explore the personal story behind the film, the psychological impact of displacement, and the experience of rebuilding a life in a new country. It will open up a broader discussion around identity, belonging, and the realities of migration.

Jordan Mintzer is a Paris-based contributing film critic for The Hollywood Reporter, and wrote previously for Variety. His work has also appeared in Cahiers du cinéma, Le Monde, So Film and Libération, and he is a regular guest on the France Inter radio show On Aura Tout Vu. He is the author of three interview books, with James Gray, Darius Khondji and Dean Tavoularis, and the producer of the feature films Hamilton, Putty Hill and Sollers Point. He grew up in Queens, New York.

The conversation will be held in English.
